Traveling is a great way to truly appreciate what you have, and open your eyes to world issues.  While I don't always 'rough it' when I travel, I do enjoy visiting the smaller, more off the beaten track destinations.

I have recently fallen in love with Canada.  I've spent much time and money traveling to far away places, before realizing that Canada offers some pretty amazing history, culture and scenery.  I have yet to visit Nunavut (unless you count my boat trip to James Bay), Northwest Territories, the Yukon and PEI.

Each province and city offers it's own amazing experience, though Moose Factory, Newfoundland (West Coast) and Cape Breton are among my favorites.
