Australian cheese & wine experience
For cheese and wine lovers a visit to an iconic harbour structure will become more interesting and tasteful this month. Imagine being surrounded by beautiful harbour scenery and being among the bricks of Australian heritage while tasting the finest Australian cheeses and drinking their matching wine.
Throughout September the small prison-like island known as Fort Denison will host the Australian cheese and wine experience to those who visit this heritage landmark. With a 2 hour course on wine and cheese appreciation learn about the boutique cheese industry and its history in the Australian economics and society, and sample a great range of the different cheeses styles and blends with their matching wines.
These courses are $130 per person during September which includes the return ferry ride and the national park entry fee. For an additional $10, can be combined with a guided tour of the fort beforehopping on the ferry back into Circular Quay.
Bookings essential.
