Best Lisbon airport restaurants
If you're passing through Lisbon airport and you're looking for something to eat, I would presume you're flying out. And I'm afraid I won't have very good news for you. I'll get this one straight out - Lisbon airport is expensive and not quite good when it comes to eating. But then, is there any airport with good value for money when it comes to food. Especially for us, from Portugal, who like so much eating. Still, you do have a few choices, whether you're in a hurry or if you have time to sit, order and eat peacefully.
Just before the check in, if your stomach starts shouting too loud, your best choices will be La Pausa, an up-market restaurant, or Expresso Sushi.
Once you get in, your choice for a fast meal are quite good - Cockpit Bar serves tapas, mini-sandwiches and snacks; Oregano is your best choice if you fancy Mediterranean food. This self service shop offers soups, quiches, salads, fish and meat; If you like good quality food, but still want it fast, head for Harrods. From sushi, to baguetes, tapas to salads, this is the best spot for anyone looking for a quick meal without dispensing with high quality service and products; On the other hand, if you want traditional Portuguese food, Passeio Antigo mirrors the atmosphere of a tradition Lisbon bairro and its flavors.
Still, keep in mind that Lisbon airport is shockingly in the centre and a taxi will take you easily to a real downtown restaurant in just 10 minutes.
Bom proveito.
