Changi Airport's Best Restaurants.

With three very busy Terminals, as well as an on-site Airport Hotel, one would expect there to be lost of quality restaurant choices as far as Singapore's Changi Airport is concerned.

That is not exactly the case as most of the outlets are fast-food and coffee shop options backed by a number of Local Food Courts offering basic Asian fare.

Hunt though and you will finally find some appealing outlets.

The Crystal Jade restaurant in Terminal 2 offers Cantonese cuisine in a pleasant setting. Their Terminal 3 outlet is a Shanghainese restaurant with choices reflecting this type of cuisine.

Terminal 3 restaurants (on the pre-departure side) are found alongside passenger walkways and tend to be noisy. The Imperial Treasure Chinese Restaurant located smack in the middle of things is pleasant and enjoyable but is not top class.

Terminal 2's better restaurants are one level above the check-in area and mostly Asian --- try the Soup Restaurant which is appealing and serves more than soup.

Terminal 1 has an Imperial Treasure outlet offering good Chinese cuisine as well as numerous fast-food places.

Having checked them all out I have to say that the best restaurants are to be found in the Crowne Plaza Hotel --- located within Terminal 3.

Access is close to the inter-terminal Skytrain and their pleasant Azur Restaurant (1st floor --- offering buffet or a la carte options) beckons guests, passengers and airport visitors in a classy setting.

Even nicer perhaps is the Imperial Treasure Chinese Restaurant on the Ground Floor which is well-appointed and appealing.

The décor is most pleasant and oozes quality, and the tables are well filled with travelers and locals alike (always a good sign) and all-in-all it's the best of the lot.
