Food for Half
I've got good news that sure to save you some money. Many of the places I recommend, though worth every penny can be expensive (which for many of you is just fine since your visiting on an expense account). For those of you eating your way through Atlanta on a budget, I've stumbled across a great offer to save your hard earned travel money through the Creative Loafing.
The promotion is called Eats, or maybe its Bites it's hard for me to tell from the website. Frankly it doesn't matter what the name is. What is clear is the savings. You pay $25 for $50 dollars worth of food, or $15 for $30 dollars. That's it, really. You pick the restaurant that you're interested in going to, you pay with a credit card, you get a confirmation number and then within a week you've got a printed out piece of paper to present at the restaurant of your choosing.
I signed up last week as an experiment before I wrote about it. I order three certificates: Cuerno (which I've written about here), Top Floor (also have written about on Planeteye), and a new restaurant called Beleza (which I have yet try).
We used the certificate at Top Floor without any trouble, we had a wonderful meal, I just left cash for the tip.
Here is the link, I strongly encourage you to use it:
