Anyone that's in town this wonderful weekend MUST go to at least one free tasting at the Monteleone.  I've taken the liberty of posting the schedule below, since it's not on the website ... but it was in my press package! Take a look:

Friday

Saturday

12 30-2 pm: Mount Gay Rum presents: Tasting a Legend

12 30-2 pm: St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

2 30-4 pm: Grand Marnier/Navan Vanilla Liqueur

4 30-6 pm: Old New Orleans Rum 

5 30-7 30 pm: Boca Loca Cachaca

Sunday

10 30-12 pm: LUCID Absinthe

10 30-12 pm: Noilly Prat

Make sure to go to at least one of the seminars that are scheduled for the weekend as well!  At only around $40 a pop, you can try to learn a little something through the muddled fog of this festival.  Now it's retaining it that will be the problem ...
