Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Markets
A new fresh food markets is opening in the heart of Sydney for a taste of country fresh produce. The Hawkesbury Harvest Farmers and Fine Food Markets is officially opening on Friday 22 August 2008 and will there after be held every Friday from 10am to 2:30pm.
The Hawkesbury Harvest, a small group of fresh produce growers from Sydney's Hawksbury region was formed in 2000, to promote the fresh, seasonal produce from the farms near Sydney. Since then, they have been the heart and soul of Sydney's small, independent gourmet scene.
This new market is the third of the Farmers and Fine Food Markets by the association and will feature wide range of fresh and locally produced fine foods including vegetables and fruits, hand roasted coffee beans, jams, honey and conserves, meat products, breads and other gourmet delights. Being in the centre of the CBD also makes it convenient for anyone to browse and taste the natural flavours of Australia.
Come and enjoy the Hawkesbury Harvest Markets every Friday from 10am to 2.30pm in the square at Cook + Phillip Park.
