Lions and Tigers and Bears

And giraffes, and cheetahs, and hippos and lemurs.....and and and.  The list of animals to be seen at the Greater Vancouver Zoo is about 10 miles long.

If you are visiting the Vancouver area with children, then no visit it complete without seeing the Greater Vancouver Zoo.

The Zoo has had some recent additions, including Duma (the cheetah), and Amryn -a giraffe who was born in December.

Think that a trip to the zoo is just watching animals behind a cage.  Well this zoo is very interactive.  Think wild animal park.    You can take a mini safari train, or the wild safari bus.  Get hands on with a reptile.  Or participate in the feedings of lions and tigers.

It's definintely something that your kid would not want to miss.
