Miami International Wine Fair: October 25-27

Wine afficionados and laymen alike descend on Miami Beach for a chance to sample from a selection of more than 1,500 wines from 15 countries during the 7th annual Miami International Wine Fair, taking place this year on October 25-27, 2008.  While it's a prominent industry event in the food and beverages world, this grape affair is also a 65.000 sqft walk-around learning-through-sampling experience. Consumers can enter the exhibit hall from 4PM to 7PM on Saturday and Sunday to taste the hundreds of wines available. For an additional fee, the most devoted enthusiasts can access the Collectors' Club, where the Fairs finest wines are featured. Beginners and connoisseurs alike may also participate in a comprehensive seminar program offering guided tastings ranging from the basics of wine appreciation to in-depth analysis of the world's greatest wines.

The 2008 Seminar Program at this year's event will feature 12 guided tastings on Saturday, October 25 and Sunday, October 26 to be held on the second floor of Hall C at the Miami Beach Convention Center.  The program will include 3 seminars at no additional cost for Wine Fair ticket holders, including the Wine Fair's classic introductory seminar for novice wine lovers ('Taking the Fear out of Wine Tasting') and two very special presentations by Chateau Indage. India's most awarded fine wine producer, and Wines from Brazil, the official government body responsible for the promotion of Brazilian wines in the US The program will also include tastings of wines from Spain (including Sherry), Oregon, Italy, California and a real treat for true aficionados of Syrah and Grenache.
