Ristorante Celestino

For mouthwatering traditional Mediterranean style cuisine in central Florence, look no further than Ristorante Celestino. This friendly and popular local hangout is a great place to sample everything you’ve ever wanted to try. Here you’ll find an enormous menu of starters (duck liver, cured meats, snails, cheeses, salads and soups) to their delicious pasta dishes (tortellini, lasagne, Florentine Crepes, risotto and truffle pastas) to their mouth watering main courses (veal, chicken, lamb, fish and the famous Bisteca Fiorintina) and decadent desserts.

One of my favorite places to take friends and family visiting, this place isn’t stuffy or overpriced The food is incredible, the tiny terrace is perfect for summer or fall evenings that are soon upon us.

Since this is a popular place for the locals, be sure to book in advance either on line or by phone:
