Strange music for those who likes experiments

The thing which I write now about is difficult to call music, though the performers are called “musicians” and the festival is a musical one. It’s more like a collection of sounds, not harmony, without a clear melody or something like that. And anyway, there may be somebody who loves it.

So, it’s called “American season in St.   Petersburg”. A few Americans will play what they love, the examples to listen are on the link at the end of my message. The festival will take place in a few venue within the city, but all these venues are musical, so acoustic will be ok. As I understand, acoustic for such music is important.

I would say this is a vanguard type music, not standard, the one which is difficult to understand at first listening. So if are not addicted to experiments, this might a risk for you to spend time in vain, but if you are, then it may be a great experience.

And five examples. By the way, you may listen, why not, if even you are in Bordeaux or in London, and not going to visit St. Petersburg within the next five years!
