Two very odd, but very fresh markets to shop at!
So are you stuck on the christmas present you were meant to buy for that cousin of yours with very strange obsession about blue plastic things? Is there something you just simply cannot find anywhere?
Before you give up, give two last markets a go.
Finders Keepers Market
As the name suggests, it is indeed a finders keepers, losers weepers market. No, these are not scraps from the rubbish bins nor it is really a second hand market. It's a market that has evolved from the Hope St Markets that has famed itself with hip and funky handmade goods, and is now a large biannual market held in the Carriage Works in Redfern. Over 60 local Sydney designers are featured at this market with items from laptop cases to scarfs. Complete with live music, a cafe and a bar, the lively atmosphere is one that other markets simply cannot compete with.
Don't miss out!

Young Blood: Designers Market

The market gives the public a change to buy directly from the local designers, showcasing original fashion, furniture, jewellery, graphic, product, landscape and lighting designs in a vibrant market atmosphere.
