Visa Exemptions For Russians!

The Vietnam National Administration for Tourism recently announced that as of the 1st January, 2009, travelers to Vietnam holding a Russian passport will be exempted from Visa requirements.

These new laws have already be approved by the Prim Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and will apply to all Russian travelers for visits of 15 days or less.

Vietnam recieved some 60,000 Russian travelers in 2007 and this is expect to increase to around 70,000during 2008.
