Christmas on the Closes
I'm just about to book my tickets for this one, but know it will be popular so sharing it with all you intrepid adventurers out there. Mary King's Close is hosting ‘Christmas on the Closes' this year, which gives you some realistic insight into life in medieval Edinburgh for Christmas. Interesting, eh?
Tickets include the modern day accompaniments of any proper British Christmas outing: a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie. From the website:

Saturday December 6th, Sunday December 7th, Saturday December 13th, Sunday December 14th, Monday December 15th, Tuesday December 16th, Wednesday December 17th, Thursday December 18th, Friday December 19th, Saturday December 20th, Sunday December 21st.
Sunday through Friday 3pm - 5pm (last tour)
Saturday 6pm - 9pm (last tour)
