El Tigre

El Tigre

Tigre, the number one attraction in the vicinity of Buenos Aires, is barely half an hour by train from the capital. When the summer arrives the delta´s maze of forested channels offers shady relief. Tigre began as a humble colonial port, but from the late 19th century it became a summer sanctuary for the porteño elite, who built imposing mansions and prestigious rowing clubs. There are plenty of activities going on all around.
