The many colours of La Boca

The many colours of La Boca

La Boca is one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, filled with multi-colour houses, theatres, museums and more. It was born overlooking the river. Between 1830 nand 1852, the first Genoese families settle here, at the same time as the naval lance racks and warehouses. These immigrants built their houses with what the port offered, using scrap wood and sheets of metal, and coloured the walls with the remaining of paint obtained from the ships.
