This building was completed in 1897 and has since been renovated. The back courtyard has chairs patio tables with umbrellas and a scenic atmosphere. In addition there is a reading area with large sun windows delicate wooded furniture and comfortable sitting chairs. There are plenty of variable dining options in the expressive French Quarter offering cuisine of an unusual and tempting variety. The famous St. Charles streetcar stops directly in front of the hotel 24 hours a day and makes most of New Orleans convenient. Located one mile from the French Quarter the hotel is convenient to Riverwalk shopping mall Jackson Square Royal Street antique shops and art galleries Bourbon Street bars Harrahs Casino French Market and all other Quarter attractions. The Ernest Morial Convention Center Superdome Aquarium of the Americas Garden District and Central Business District are easily accessible. All rooms include cable television iron and climate control. Each suite has a microwave refrigerator VCR CD player and coffeemaker.
