Overview: Bastide has reopened with a new look from Andrée Putman, new cuisine from Walter Manzke, and a new wine list from Pieter Verheyde. The cuisine is focused and precise, derived from local and non-controversial ingredients. The wine list respects the classics but recognizes and adds world wines. The space is still discreet and sublime. There will not be a conventional menu. Chef Walter Manzke will prepare what he feels is the best for the day and offer two options. Wine pairings from Pieter will also be an option. As before, there is complimentary valet parking, and as before, no corkage.
