Description: Every November, when rain and snow sweep through the city, Berlin is transformed into a fairytale paradise. The fairytale festival comprises over 400 events ranging from readings and plays to exhibitions and an academic symposium. There's something here for both adults and children alike. While fairytale classics like "Snow White" and "Aladdin" make up part of the programme, plenty of coverage is given to new material like modern fairytales written by children. Events take place in Berlin libraries and other institutions across the city.
