"The Coronado Boathouse 1887 Restaurant is located on Coronado Island; this historical building sits on the sparkling waters of the Glorietta Bay.. Built in 1887, the building was the original model for the world-famous Hotel Del Coronado, located directly across the street. The Coronado Boathouse may be reached by water taxi, the Coronado Bay bridge or via the Silver Strand. The Boathouse is open nightly seven days a week. The restaurant is available for daytime private group functions, weddings, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners.
