Description: In 2007, Green Beanery opened Canada's largest coffee equipment retail store -- a 2650 square feet store, with more than 100 feet of frontage, at the corner of Bloor and Bathurst, one Toronto's most famous intersections. The Green Beanery store will be unique: It will be a roastery that offers 50 varieties of roasted coffees -- more than any other roastery or coffee shop in the world -- many of them organic and fair trade coffee varieties. It will also be unique because of its environmental nature. The staff are environmentalists as well as coffee lovers, part of the team at one of Canada's largest federally registered charities: Energy Probe Research Foundation and its Probe International division. At any time, we expect our store will be welcoming environmental visitors from around the world, in town for work or play.
