Situated in the city centre the Hostal Boqueria is close to all the main historical architectural and tourist places of interest. On the Ramblas across from the hostel guests can find the Mercat de la Boqueria which was named the best market in the world in 2006. Further down the Ramblas guests will find the Columbus monument which faces a big entertainment center called Maremagnum. From there one can take a pleasant stroll to the beach. The hotel offers non-smoking rooms and interior corridors. Both Internet and telephone are available in the lobby. Parking is available at an additional cost. The hotel was built in 2002 and remodeled in 2006. All rooms are nicely decorated and have the necessary facilities to make guests' stay comfortable. They all are equipped with air-conditioning with heating function comfortable beds bathrooms with hairdryer satellite TV safe deposit boxes and key card access. Children age five and under can stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
