The Hostal Rio de Castro since 1967 is a family-run hostel in the center of Barcelona. It opened in August 1967 and has been completely renewed in 2007. The hostel is just on the Paral lel an area with a lot of cultural activities to choose from including theaters and cinemas and only 400 meter from the Feria de Barcelona or Barcelona Trade Fair which is the most important conference and business center of the city. This privileged position means one is just a five-minute walk from the bus stop where one can go from the Plaza de Espana to the airport or the top of Montjuic to enoy the beautiful views or the Conference Center of the city and port. Avenida Paral lel is a lively thoroughfare where one will find a choice of theaters and entertainment in the vicinity. The hostel is well placed for the main through roads serving the city and is well served by public transport and only a few minutes away from the historic city center. It also features parking facilities for customers. Pets are allowed in this hostel. It features 16 double rooms all with bathrooms TVs Wi-Fi for Internet access air conditioning and heating in each room which means they are able to offer personalized service.
