The Travel Park Hotel set in the heart of beautiful Lisbon just a few steps from downtown and the historical center of the city. Known as the City of the Seven Hills Lisbon is perched alongside the River Tagus and enjoys a mild climate rich fauna and flora and some amazing original architecture that highlights Portugal*s medieval and Muslim roots. Much of this lovely city was destroyed in 1755 from an overpowering earthquake followed by an equally devastating tsunami that killed over 60 000 people. History has it that Lisbon*s Pombal Marquis set straight to work following the disaster saying; Bury the dead and feed the living and in an amazingly short time had Lisbon back on its feet. The surviving buildings that pre-date this disaster are living monuments to the resilience of the Portuguese spirit. Each of the Travel Park Hotel*s 61 rooms is air-conditioned and soundproofed with cable television direct-dial telephone internet connections in-room safe and en-suite bath facilities. A small business center and multiple natural-light meeting rooms will appeal to working guests and the hotel bar and restaurant serving traditional Portuguese and international cuisine are sure to please all. A tasty breakfast is served daily to all guests allowing them a head start on their long day of business meetings or sightseeing. The Metro stop; Anjos right at the hotel*s door step will take guests exploring the outer reaches of the city and the historical downtown area is only a short walk away. The Travel Park hotel is convenient to numerous fine dining shopping and entertainment venues.
