Chef Walid Abuelhawa earned his falafel-making chops at one of Washington's most popular venues -- the Amsterdam Falafelshop. But Abuelhawa left Amsterdam Falafelshop in 2006 to start this gem of a restaurant, also… located in Adams Morgan. Old City Café offers a quality salad bar and crunchy but moist-in-the-middle falafel. I couldn't ask for more. (photo) [link]
