Description: The current Cathedral was built in 1885 and is the head church of the Diocese. It is a good example of 19th century architecture with a spire and gothic style windows, and a very fine timbered ceiling with great wooden trusses. On the north side of the building is a pleasant grassy square with large trees and a rock waterfall. There are several good cafes nearby. The Cathedral Shop is across the Square.
