Description: Velvet Slide's one of the newest additions to this strip and is fighting to be seen among its well-known and loved neighbors, but it should gain a following in good time. I haven't tested their dinners, but the… lunch menu has plenty of options, including open grills and pastas; the service was friendly, which is enough to keep me open minded about coming back. I also spotted enormous croissants on the counter -- obviously left over from breakfast, which could definitely persuade me to test their breakfast prowess. [link]
