Prague abounds in small indepent shops. Join me for a tour around the city's second-hand, antiques, bric-a-brac and antique stores. Look out for the words; bazar and antikvariat. The city centre is souvenir shop galore. Take home crystal glassware, garnet jewelery or wooden marionets. Moser at Prikope 12, sells top notch Czech crystal and their prices are accordingly. If you are on a tighter budget the souvenir shops at Wenceslas Square and around Old Town Square have a more affordable range of crystals. Bookstores are havens for book lovers. Besides books in Czech they also have a large selection of English books. Or just go in to browse the picture books of Prague and have a cappuccino and Sacher Torte in the bookshop cafe.
