Locations:
The Setai
2001 Collins Avenue Miami Beach, FL 33139 (800) 745-8883
One would not usually be inclined to describe Miami's hot spots as serene. Unless, of course, the spot in question is The Setai, an intimate oceanfront resort situated in the heart of South Beach, where its design blends the rich architectural history of the neighborhood with its cultural diversity. Interestingly, the Art Deco landmark building was originally built between 1936 and 1938, when it was known as the famed Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel. A 40-story glass tower now stands next to it. Authentic jade pieces that were discovered in the antique markets of China are displayed within the guest rooms and suites - examples of the property's Asian influences. A relaxed meal at The Grill or a more formal dinner at The Restaurant aims to please. The Setai's consistently innovative food, exceptional wine, excellent service, and colorful surroundings reflect Miami's vibrant energy year-round, while the goal of its Spa is restoration and realignment of the body and spirit.
VENICE BEACH
Los Angeles , California
El Matador State Beach
Ipanema

Viceroy Santa Monica
1819 Ocean Ave, Santa Monica, CA 90401
Gorgeous seaside boutique hotel the Viceroy Santa Monica takes its looks - and its vocation - seriously: parakeet-green Chesterfields partner dazzling white modernist occasional tables; deco-style gazebos are decked out with French dining furniture, and fresh-as-a-daisy decor awaits in the light and airy guest rooms. Lush, secluded grounds provide a tranquil escape from the exciting bustle of the nearby boutique strip with its upscale shops, restaurants and beach life.
South Beach
Miami Beach, Miami, FL, 33139, United States
South Beach is the section of Miami Beach, Florida that encompasses the southernmost 23 blocks of an island separating the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. This area was the first section of Miami Beach to be developed, starting in the 1910s, thanks to the development efforts of Carl G. Fisher, the Lummus Brothers, John S. Collins, and others. The area has gone through numerous man-made and natural changes over the years, including a booming regional economy, increased tourism, and the 1926 hurricane, which destroyed much of the area.
Venice Lido
Venice, Italy
Venice's Lido is an 11-mile (18 km) long sandbar, home to about 20,000 residents, greatly augmented by the (mainly Italian) tourists who move in every summer. The Venice film festival takes place at the Lido every September.
Blijburg aan Zee

A sandy beach about 250 meters long and 40 meters wide, located on IJburg island. Blijburg has a true beach feel to it due to the unobstructed view of the large IJsselmeer lake. It has a beach bar and restaurant, and a campfire in the evening.
