Julie Schwietert Collazo is a writer, editor, researcher, and translator who specializes in place-based stories about people and places that have been overlooked in traditional narratives. Along with her husband, she produces written and multi-media projects about Latin America. She has lived in Viejo San Juan, Puerto Rico and currently divides her time between Mexico City and New York City.
