Moonbeam Cafe is an independent coffee shop in the heart of Kensington Market that not only serves coffee but tea, smoothies and tantalizing baked goods. You can also buy coffee beans and teas.

If you're visiting San Diego and traveling with children, a visit to LegoLand (about a 30-minute drive north) is well worth it. You can get a great snapshot from this article in the LA Times: http://travel.latimes.com/articles/la-tr-legoland23-2008nov23

A casual, bohemian place for coffee/tea and great desserts.

Nice bakery in downtown Bayfield with a fairly good selection, although, surprisingly, no bread. It also has a tea house in the back where you can enjoy a morning coffee/tea.
