Excellent food, great service, and a great location / venue. Elm street has a lot of solid restaurants, but Donatello is one of the best. A special occasion, dinner for two, family gatherings - Donatello accommodates it all in style and with a great menu to boot.

Entrepreneur Terence Conran has succeeded again with the opening of this trend-setting restaurant at Canary Wharf, serving a modern French cuisine. The chef proudly boasts that he appeals to both high- and lowbrow palates -- and he does so admirably. The location is at the top of the Canada Place building, with panoramic views of London.

OK bar - typical pub fare. They have a huge summertime patio that's always packed.

Great poutine, for sure. Friendly staff that really seems to enjoy working there - but make sure to get there a bit early to beat the lunchtime rush. Also, not very many tables, so you may want to plan to take out as opposed to staying around and eating.

Not a bad place to go for pool or drinks with friends - right along Queen street, so it's close to plenty of shopping and some other live music venues. I'm not a huge fan of their food.

Great place to stay, and certainly has a lot of history. Price per night is what you would expect from a Fairmont (on the high side), but well worth it, and it's right in the heart of downtown.

Definitely the biggest mall in downtown Toronto - has some solid stores, and all of the typical things you would expect from a mall.

Historic building, and a great venue (that's not too big) for live shows. I've seen both comedians and bands play live here, and the sound is always fantastic. Really close to Yonge & Dundas square, for food, shopping, etc...

Not a bad place to go for dinner - especially in the summer; one of the best rooftop patios in the city. Food is pretty good and service is OK. A bit on the expensive side.
